What were you born for?

This is the question I often ask people in the course of my coaching.

I am a transformational coach with a passion for seeing people discover and nurture their innate talents and unleash these talents to impact their homes, communities and the cities they live in for good. I am a Certified Gallup CliftonStrengths Coach, God Talks Certified Professional (The first in Southeast Asia and maybe even Asia!), a Grief Recovery Method Specialist and I am working towards my ACC in ICF by the end of this year.

After first starting as an educator, I have pursued a career in the arts, leading small and large teams in start-up arts companies as well as working with large international companies such as Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Really Useful Company and Cirque du Soleil. In 1997 I set up my own dedicated arts and entertainment marketing consultancy which promoted blockbuster events in Singapore but slowly wound up because of SARS. Until January 2024, I have spent 11 years, helping young people in a leading university in Singapore to manage their student arts groups and to produce their performance showcases but nurturing essential leadership and lifeskills that are good foundations for their future. There I discovered my love for coaching. I now run Strengths For LYF, a boutique bespoke coaching company based in Singapore, which aims to bring clarity of purpose, ignite passion, to achieve peak performance so that one can live fully alive in all that God has created him to be.

Throughout most of my working life, I learnt the wisdom of seeking God for direction through His Word and through wise counsel (Sometimes the hard way) What God Talks did for me was to help me hear Him better and to obey. It’s something I would like to help others do. If this is something you want to explore, please feel free to email me. (Do note meeting times will be virtual and at GMT +08)
